Interest in solo travel is surging, reflected in peak Google search activity towards the end of 2024, and the market itself reached a staggering USD 482.34 billion in 2024, with projections showing a robust growth at a CAGR of 14.3% from 2025 to 2030!. This isn’t just a fleeting moment; it’s a fundamental change in how we're choosing to see the world, particularly for Millennials and Gen Z, with a huge 76% planning solo trips in 2025.

But let’s be honest. For all the incredible freedom and self-discovery that solo travel offers—and nearly 90% of female travelers cite this freedom and flexibility as their main motivation —there are shared realities we need to address. We're a new UK-based app and we're building it from a deep passion for solo travel (over 15 years+) combined with a data-driven approach to addressing these genuine needs; my founder is a ex-medic and data scientist!

The aim is to use smart, intuitive technology – including thoughtful data-science recommendations (in near future) – to help you genuinely connect with like-minded people and events.
