We have more incredibly exciting news to share. The next chapter of the SoloBudd story begins today, as we have moved to our new home (albeit temporary for now) as members of the Department Campfield community, right in the heart of Manchester's vibrant new St. John’s neighbourhood.

More Than Just a Desk: A Home for Connection

When you're building an app designed to get people out from behind their screens to have authentic, real-world connections, the right environment is everything. We didn't want just an office with rows of desks; we wanted a home that embodied our values of community and creativity.

Campfield is exactly that. It's an environment where, as they say, "innovation, creativity, and culture converge to drive meaningful progress." With over half the space designed for collaboration beyond a traditional desk, and vibrant cafes, event spaces, and social hubs, it's the perfect backdrop for a company built on genuine connection.

A Shared Mission: Innovation with a Social Conscience

We founded SoloBudd to use technology to solve a real social challenge—the paradox of connection on your own terms and the need for safety in solo travel. To read that the campus mission is to "empower visionary people and businesses to tackle the world’s most pressing technological, environmental, and social challenges" felt like we were reading our own playbook, our values.

This isn't just about business growth; it's about social progress. The entire campus is built on the idea of "removing barriers and opening doors," a philosophy that is at the very core of SoloBudd's work to make travel safer and more inclusive for everyone—especially for women, the LGBTQ+ community, and people of colour.

As a founder with a background in data science, medicine, and creative design, finding a home for SoloBudd was a huge decision," said Neil Saeed, Founder of SoloBudd. The Journey from Manchester
